Book Review: Shakespeare's Secret by Elise Broach

Shakespeare's Secret by Elise Broach is a wonderful little book, a childrens' mystery. Hero is starting sixth grade in a new town and a new school., and Hero is less than thrilled to be the new kid again. But this new move might prove to be much more interesting than the other countless moves that her family has made. When Hero meets her new neighbor, the elderly Mrs. Roth, she is told of the Shakespearean mystery that centers around Hero's new home and it's previous owners. Intrigued by the mystery, Hero feels compelled to solve it with the aid of Mrs. Roth. But then comes along Danny Cordova, who wants to help solve the mystery, too. But Hero soon finds out that Mrs. Roth and Danny are mysteries all on their own
This has been one of my favorite books since 5th grade. And even though it's been years since I first bought my copy at my elementary school's book fair, I have reread Shakespeare's Secret over and over ever since. If you're in the mood for an interesting little mystery, Shakespeare's Secret is the way to go!
