Hello there!

My name is Lizzie Rose, and I am the 18 year old writer, reader and procrastinator behind The Ginger Introvert! I am a new high school graduate! I am attending a four year college close to home, and taking it day by day. I'm majoring in English with a minor in Creative Writing. I would love to publish books someday, and maybe even be a full time writer. However, I am aware that this might be wishful thinking on my part, so I have absolutely what the future holds for me. I'm trying to convince myself that this is okay.

Other than writing and reading, I love music, watching movies, and photography.

I started this blog on December 29, 2011 as Lizzie's Garden. Then, in 2013, I changed the name to Petals and Velvet. I've changed the name (again) to The Ginger Introvert and I am planning on sticking with this name! This blog is a little bit of everything. I write about whatever I feel like writing about. If that means music one day and fashion the next, then so be it! This blog has grown with me over the years and will continue to in the future.
