Fall Leaves and Pre-Sandy Beauty

Hello, everyone!
It's been a long time since I've posted, and it seems like nowadays there are a few months between each post, and every time I say that I'll try to post more. This time I don't think I'll make any promises, but I'm enjoying writing this blog now :)
So about two weekends ago (pre-Sandy) I took a drive with my mom to my Aunt's to welcome my new baby cousin Eli into the world. During that drive, I couldn't help but be in awe by the beauty of the fall leaves. All the vibrant colors, reds, browns, oranges, and listening to Taylor Swift's new CD while enjoying the beauty around me. Now I'll always associate that CD and fall with the birth of my cousin, and what a wonderful afternoon that was!
Also, I'd like to request prayers for all those severely hit by Sandy. My home got hit, but not hard at all, we were so lucky. But others in New York City and the beach towns and the other places hit hard by the terrible storm are still recovering. Thanks for the prayers :)
I know how awfully short this is, but after having a nice big cup of tea and watching J.K. Rowling: A Year in the Life I think I'm finally tired enough to go to sleep. Have a great weekend everyone, and don't forget to turn those clocks back! (An extra hour of sleep, how great will that be?) Hopefully I will be able to blog more soon...
