Shakespeare's Secret by Elise Broach is a wonderful little book, a childrens' mystery. Hero is starting sixth grade in a new town and a new school., and Hero is less than thrilled to be the new kid again. But this new move might prove to be much more interesting than the other countless moves that her family has made. When Hero meets her new neighbor, the elderly Mrs. Roth, she is told of the Shakespearean mystery that centers around Hero's new home and it's previous owners. Intrigued by the mystery, Hero feels compelled to solve it with the aid of Mrs. Roth. But then comes along Danny Cordova, who wants to help solve the mystery, too. But Hero soon finds out that Mrs. Roth and Danny are mysteries all on their own
This has been one of my favorite books since 5th grade. And even though it's been years since I first bought my copy at my elementary school's book fair, I have reread Shakespeare's Secret over and over ever since. If you're in the mood for an interesting little mystery, Shakespeare's Secret is the way to go!

Also, I have planned a couple more things for the celebration. I went through all of my old posts, and made a list of the Songs of the Days. So, without further ado, lets start with the Songs of the Days from 2011-2012!

Christmas books and birthday surprises
Hello everyone!
So I thought I would share a couple things with you guys. Firstly, I thought I would share with you all the books I got for Christmas...
Moonglass by Jessi Kirby
Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson
Once by Cameron Dokey
Paper Covers Rock by Jenny Hubbard
My family is definitely feeding my obsession for books! So after I read all of these, I will try to review them for you! And being a librarian's child, I must say that if you want to read these books, maybe go check them out at your local library? That would be wonderful :) And of course, you'll have to tell me if you like them if you do read them!
Okay, so for the surprise. Tomorrow is Lizzie's Garden's first birthday! So, I thought that I would review a few books that I read this year in honor of the occasion. So, I will be posting those tomorrow for you. I hope you enjoy!
So I guess I'll get started on those reviews. So many books, so little time!

Is it snow? Is it rain? What is it?!
Hello everyone,
I've been stuck inside all day, without a clue of what to do. Thanks to the snow/rain (no one seems to know what it is, the news says its snow, but it sounds like rain... What is this madness?!). Feeling un-inspired, I've had to resort to alternating watching random YouTube videos, and watching Breakfast at Tiffany's. I guess it's just the day-after-Christmas-blues.
I really dislike the 26th of December, because after almost a months worth of Christmassy cheer, it's just like what now? But even though it's past Christmas, it isn't stopping me from watching Christmas movies. Tonight's movie selection? It's either going to be The Grinch that Stole Christmas (animated) or Holiday Inn... Oh, who am I kidding? Holiday Inn all the way!
Only 364 more days to go until next Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Everyone!
Hello everyone,
Well, we survived the 'end of the world'. Now that I have today and school over with (at least for 11 days), I can finally concentrate on one thing: Christmas! I have my gifts wrapped, and ready to go underneath the tree. I don't know what it is, but this time of year never fails to get me into a cheerful mood. Whether it's all the decorations around me, family time, or the possibility (however small a possibility it is) to have a White Christmas. I especially love watching Christmas movies, here are the ones that my family watches every year...
A Charlie Brown Christmas! A classic, and a movie that we watch at least five times during the Christmas season.
This movie is hilarious! If you haven't seen it, you must! You'll be laughing the whole time.
Holiday Inn is next, another classic. From the1940s and when Hollywood was in its heyday, I love everything about this movie.
If you watch Holiday Inn, you have to watch White Christmas, too!
The Grinch! I think that it's my personal favorite...
And then there's The Santa Clause! This one is soo funny, too!
Well, That's it for tonight. I think I'm going to make another post now, my Christmas soundtrack! But if I don't blog again after that, Merry Christmas! I'll make sure to get back on for my New Years posts and a special 1st anniversary post (It'll soon be a year that I've been blogging! Can you believe it??).
Also, I would like to request prayers for the families grieving the loss of a loved one this holiday season, for the families of the victims in Connecticut. May God be with you.

Song of the Day: Santa Will Find You- Poema feat. Aaron Marsh
I love this song, it captures the warm fuzzy feeling that comes every Christmas! Also, Poema is one of my favorite bands.
